What are the guidelines for a Sale and Buy-Back transaction?

A Sale and Buy Back transaction is permitted under strict conditions for Commercial lending only.

The key policy guidelines are:

  • Asset Eligibility: Limited to Motor vehicles, Category A and Category B assets only.

  • Assessment Path: Available under Streamline assessment only.

  • Purchase Timing: The asset must have been originally purchased from a dealer within the last 3 months. Documentation verifying the original dealer purchase is required.
